I.COURSE DESCRIPTION

Theoretical and practical course that aims to train the four linguistic skills of English for a successful performance in standardized test taking for academic purposes. The trained exams are IELTSTM and TOEFL iBT?, which commonly regard the CEFR C1 level as the minimum accepted level of achievement. Both exams have similarities, but it is essential to identify and discriminate their different types of tasks in order to answer questions correctly. At the end of the semester, students will discriminate, after exposure to and constant practice of both exams, which one best suits their predominant learning style.
