I.DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CURSO

This course aims at providing students with a thorough presentation of the ample reaches of Applied Linguistics, especially those related to the issues of language in everyday use, expert use and learning and teaching languages. These topics are seen in the light of proposals forwarded through recent research, so that students can contribute by means of their own research to the areas studied.


II.RESULTADOS DE APRENDIZAJE

1.To analyze the different areas of application of linguistic knowledge to the solution of language related problems in the real world.

2.To explain the application of linguistic knowledge to everyday situations in which language is used.

3.To evaluate the role of linguistic knowledge in which language is used at an expert level.

4.To apply linguistic knowledge to issues related to educational settings such as learning and teaching languages.
